Westfield JV Green showed toughness and resilience in Saturday’s 9-6 win over Center Grove. After falling behind early, the team responded immediately behind a solo home run from Reese Gettinger and never let the momentum slip. Brinna Dale came through in a huge moment with a 2-RBI single that helped Westfield take the lead, while Reese continued her big day with another RBI hit later in the game. Alyvia Browne and Bennette Shane each added two hits, while Maddie Davison and Maleah Davison showed great patience at the plate with two walks apiece. In the circle, Dale was outstanding, going the distance in a complete-game effort while striking out eight. It was a full team win with contributions all throughout the lineup and strong energy from start to finish.
