Westfield vs HSE (1-2) The Men's Volleyball Team opened up the season at the Cathedral Invite on Saturday. The Rocks lost a tough 3 set match to HSE to start the day, 25-21, 19-25, 17-19. Leading the way for the Rocks was junior, Aidyn Kuzma, with 14 kills on 30 attempts for a .433%. Sophomore setter Michael Terbish led the offense with 29 assists in the loss. Westfield vs St. Xavier (0-2) The Men's Varsity Volleyball Team faced #1-ranked St. Xavier from Kentucky on Saturday at the Cathedral Invite. The Rocks battled tough but could not upend last year's defending state champions St X! The Rocks lost 12-25, 15-25 in the contest. Westfield vs Franklin Community The Men's Varsity Volleyball team ended the Cathedral Invite on Saturday with a convincing win over #8-ranked Franklin Community in 2 sets, 25-15, 25-20. The Rocks were led by pin hitters, Graham France (6 kills, 2 aces), Xavier Lyon ( 8 kills), and libero Stevie Alverez with 11 digs and 14 serve receptions and no service errors in the win. The Rocks improve to 1-2 on the start of the year.
