The boys track team went to Marion again this weekened to compete in the IWU HSR Qualifier #3, and walked away with a number of solid performances. Among the standouts were Canden Tuck with a big PR in the 60H, and a PR from Austin Scheerer in the pole vault. Other good performances from the 4x200 relay of Niko Lent, Evan Crow, Cole Lorenzen, and Grant Kooi, and an outstanding performance in the 4x800 by Brandon Encinia, Brecken Snyder, Chase Niccum, and Deagan Imel, on which Imel's leg was particularly strong as he returns from injury. The boys are back in action twice this week at the last two HSR qualifiers of the year at the Farm Bureau Pavilion at the State Fairgrounds on Tuesday and Thursday.
