This past Saturday the freshmen football team traveled to Zionsville to play the Eagles. In their first game away from home, the young rocks battled hard. After a fumble recovery by Joseph Gregory, the Rocks managed to find the end zone for their first score of the season after a strong run by Spencer Sullivan. The game was tight to the end with the rocks capitalizing on a late score on a touchdown pass from Ben Kooi to Logan Robe. Unfortunately, the Rocks lost the onside kick and fell to the Eagles 20-14. The rocks once again flashed in the fifth quarter of action. Corey Carter found Jonah Stinston on a long completion for a touchdown. The young rocks look to continue their improvement as they take on the Millers from Noblesville this coming Saturday at home.
