The varsity boys basketball team hosted the Harrison Raiders on Friday night. The game was closely contested in the first quarter, and the Raiders actually had a two-point lead at the quarter break. The Rocks were able to separate a little by halftime, but it was their defensive effort in the second half that turned the game upside down. The Rocks allowed just three points in the second half, after starters had been removed from the game. I was an incredible defensive showing from the Rocks, who ultimately won the game 67-26. The Rocks were led in scoring by Drew Haffner (27), Luke Vandegriff (10), and Brock Detamore (9).
