The Westfield Shamrock JV football team come up short in a hard fought 12-7 game against Lawrence Central on Saturday morning. The game was close throughout with the Shamrock defense and special teams executing at a high level and holding a strong LC offense to only 12 points. The Shamrock offense had a couple of explosive plays early in the game, but struggled to finish drives as the game progressed against a stingy LC defense. The JV Rocks move to 1-1 on the season and are back in action hosting the Zionsville Eagles Saturday, September 2nd.
