The Varsity Boys Cross Country team finished 5th place at the Hamilton County meet. Scorers for the Shamrocks included Jack Loiselle, Will Snedeker (who ran a PR), Owen Mohler, Tristan Hostetter (PR), and Ty Conner (PR). Freshmen JP Mikels and Carson Ackley also had great races, both earning huge PRs in their first ever varsity experience. The JV team also finished 5th, led by freshman Nathan McKeever's PR and first ever sub 19:00 effort. Other scorers included John Degan, Deagan Imel (PR), Corwyn Barrows, and Noah Flynn (PR). Many veterans earned PRs, including Flynn, Soren Baker, Parker Smoot, Ty Ellis, and Eli Lane. The freshmen had a great day as well, with the majority of that class earning PRs in their second official 5K. The Shamrocks are back in action at the Brownsburg Invitational on Saturday, September 2 at Brownsburg East Middle School.
