This past Saturday, the Freshman football team faced off against the Lawrence Central Bears. The Rocks lost a low scoring game by a score of 6-0. The defense settled in after giving up an early score to shut the Bears out the rest of the game. The offense showed tremendous improvement from this week finding ways to get many players the ball in space but came up short in a very competitive match up. The young rocks will begin conference play next weekend as they travel into rival territory to face off against the Eagles from Zionsville.
