JV Girls Tennis lose to Zionsville 2-6

The girls JV tennis team dropped their season opener Tuesday night at Zionsville 2-6. #1 singles player Maddie Heilman won her match 8-3 and #3 singles player Veronica Galles won her match 8-6. The team is 0-1 on the season and takes on Lawrence Central Thursday at the home opener match at 5pm.

The #1 doubles Team of Annika Mabe and Arie Sprout won their first round match in Kokomo Tuesday afternoon defeating Western’s Madeline Greer and Hellriegel Tara 6-3, 6-0. The girls advance to the final and will play McCutcheon tonight in Kokomo at 4:30.
