The JV Lady Rocks enter winter break winning their 6 straight game defeating the Tigers of Yorktown 37-17. The Rocks pushed the ball early finding each other in transition and scoring 11 first quarter points. Sophomore Vivien Rector had 5 and Freshman Reese Hoover added 4. The Tigers couldn’t handle the pressure by the Rocks and turnovers led to another double digit quarter for the Rocks. Freshman Ellie Kelleher scored 5 points and Kiki Loveless added 4 to take the Rocks into the half up 25-0. The Tigers got on the board in the third but it wasn’t enough and the Rocks rolled to a 37-17 victory. Hoover led all scorers with 11. Rector and Loveless chipped in 7 a piece. The JV Rocks are on break until the new year when they travel to Anderson on January 2 for a 12:00 tip with Varsity to follow.
