The JV Lady Rocks got their second victory in two days defeating the Huskies of Hamilton Heights 46-10. The Rocks got off to a quick start getting baskets from 5 different players early to take a 16-0 first quarter lead. Sophomore Emmrey Collinsworth knocked down two big 3’s and Freshman Kiki Loveless had 4. The Rocks bench was the key again in the second quarter where Freshman Taelyn Russell came in and scored 5 of her season high 12 points and the Rocks went into the half up 27-1. The Rocks defense was too much for the Huskies and the Rocks cruised in the second half out scoring their opponent 19-9. Russell led all scorers with 12, Hoover and Henson had 8, and Collinsworth chipped in 6. The Rocks are back in action Tuesday night when they host the Orioles of Avon. JV and C-Team tip at 6 with Varsity to follow.
