The Boys Varsity Soccer team won a wild one having to mount a comeback after going down 3-0 in the first ten minutes of the opening half. The boys were able to calm things down a bit and find there way into the match after Senior Captain Max Von Arx played a free kick from just inside midfield that was misplayed by the opposing keeper and found the back of the net. Moments later the boys narrowed the margin after a well placed free kick from Junior Jordan Donsky was put into the mix and a diving effort from Junior Ben Wallace put the ball in the side of the net. Just before the half Junior David Green was able to narrow the margin to one yet again after Brownsburg was able to score for their fourth first half goal. The second half turned out to be all Rocks with Senior Francis Agbo winning a header to find Green who took the ball across the top of the box and then ripped a low shot finding the back of the net for his second goal of the match. The boys were able to keep the pressure up with Senior Captain Miguel Ayala working hard to win the ball at the top of the box, recovering his own shots and playing it across where Green was able to put it away to complete his hat trick and get the game winner. The Boys Varsity and JV teams will be back in action this Thursday against Columbus North at home for teacher appreciation night. Go Rocks!
