The Westfield Boys cross country team finished 6th of 14 teams in the Riverview Health Invitational Saturday, posting 5 career best times in a very strong day for the Shamrocks.
The boys were led by a 5th place finish by Kai Connor, equaling his best time ever of 15:39. He was followed by Jacob Beene (PR of 16:25), Josh Springborn (PR of 16:38), Tyler Smith (season best time of 16:39), and Emerson Bostic (16:39). Other outstanding races were run by Josh Barnett, Aidan Wright, and Robby Bogdajewicz, all of whom ran personal best times.
The Shamrocks are back in action Tuesday in a triangular JV meet at White River Elementary in Noblesville. The varsity races next Saturday in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship at the same venue.
