The boys cross country finished a strong 6th in their own Riverview Health Invitational Saturday, 1 point out of 5th. Along the way they beat three teams ranked in the top 10 in the state–two of whom were in the top 5. They were led by great senior performances by Max Gutwein, Noah Douthit, and Samuel Novak. Other scorers were Mahamat Djour, who ran a personal best time and the outstanding freshman in the meet, Kai Connor. Jacob Beene also had an outstanding race.

The JV team was led by Max Woehler’s outstanding race to a 2nd place finish. Joining Max in the scoring were Aidan Wright, Lincoln Strong, Duncan McGraw, and Alex Matthews. Zion Garron Ciberay, Josh Barnett, David Cox, Will Clifford, and Alex Arnold also had outstanding races.

The boys are back in action next Saturday at While River Elementary in Noblesville at the HCC Championships.
