The Westfield boys cross country team ran to an outstanding 4th place on Saturday at the IHSAA Noblesville Regional, qualifying for next week’s Semi State. The Shamrocks were led by All-Regional runner Samuel Novak in 19th overall. The pack held together for the Rocks with freshman sensation Kai Connor running the fastest freshman time in school history and finishing in 21st. He was closely followed by Mahamat Djour running a best ever time in 26th, and Max Gutwein in 28th, also running a best ever time. The scoring was rounded out by Noah Douthit in 33rd.
The boys race again on Saturday, October 20th at the IHSAA Shelbyville Semi State at the Blue River Cross Country Course in Shelbyville.
