The Varsity Rocks won a share of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference with a win at Franklin Central Friday night. The Rocks trailed by five at half, but outscored the Flashes 45-34 in the second half to secure the win. The Flashes hit a three to cut Westfield’s lead to two points late in the fourth. Mathew Penley immediately answered with a three of his own. He also secure an enormous offensive rebound off a free throw, in the final minute, to help the Rocks ice the game. Braden Smith took over in the second half, finishing with 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists. Mathew Penley had 17 points and 4 rebounds. Nic Depasquale scored 11 with 5 rebounds.
