The freshman ROCKS went to 3 with Brownsburg before falling in the third set 12-15. The ROCKS were lead by DePasquale and Fish in serve receive, in digs by Fish with 15, in assists by Dodson with 14, and in kills by Pilcher and Stewart with 5 kills a piece. The freshman will be travelling to Zionsville for the Zionsville Freshman Invite this weekend.

Westfield dropped a three-set match to Brownsburg on Thursday. Meg Taggart led the offense with 6 kills, followed by Katie Sweet with 5 kills. A strong defense was led by Peighton Isley with 14 digs, Riley Fanelli with 11 digs, and Taggart with 10 digs. Fanelli added 17 assists. Sweet also had 3 solo blocks and 1 block assist.

The Westfield Rocks defeated Brownsburg in 5 sets. The Shamrocks were led by Claire Hindman with 23 digs, Kinsey McAfee with 13 kills, Bailey Mendler with 4 aces, and Hillary Muntel with 2 solo blocks and 2 blocking assists. Sarah Weglarz finished the match with 38 assists.

The Rocks will play Saturday in the Brebeuf Tournament.

Meet Recap

The boys tennis team played great last night as they defeated the Kokomo 5-0. #2 singles Quentin Markle started things off for the Rock winning in straight set. This brings his record to an impressive 16-4 on the season. Harrison Sindelar also got a great win at #3 singles. Both doubles teams of Carson and Connor Maris and Joe Day and Nicholas Mabe continued their consistent play and defeated two very good Kokomo opponents. In a match that last 3 hours, Parker Kalis finished things off for the Rocks winning in three sets.
