Travis Hickner – Cross Country – Noblesville HS
Travis broke our nearly twenty-eight year old boys cross-country record by running a 15:01 effort on September 5th. This time was the fourth fastest time in the nation for the weekend. It also currently places him second in the nation among seniors. And he’s a good guy and an excellent teammate.
Travis placed 13th last year in the state as a junior and 21st as a sophomore.
Palmer Ault – Soccer – Noblesville HS
Palmer is one of the big reasons Noblesville is 5-0 and ranked number #2 in the ISCA 3A Poll
7 goals and 1 Assist through 5 games in August against quality competition (including a hat trick against rival Carmel)
Axel Aleman – Cross Country – Sheridan HS
Axel got his personal best time for a 5k, and a top ten finish at the Landis Invite.
Max Fuller – Tennis – Guerin Catholic HS
Max finished the month with a 5-1 singles record and had two big victories at #1 singles against his opponents from Northwestern (6-2, 6-2) and Covenant Christian (6-0, 6-1). Max’s outstanding play has helped the Golden Eagles get off to a 5-1 record to start the 2020 season and a state ranking of #8 in the IHSTCA poll.
Mikah Phillips – Football – Hamilton Southeastern HS
Mikah picked off two passes by the North Central QB during the Royals’ nail biting overtime loss to the Panthers on Friday, August 28. Mikah’s first interception lead to a 7-0 lead for the Royals in the first quarter. He intercepted his second ball during the fourth quarter as the Royals were hanging to a 28-20 lead. Final score was 36-35 in overtime.
Taylor Caldwell – Golf – Noblesville HS
On August 13th, Taylor shot a 5 under par 30 at Harbour Trees in a match vs Westfield. This is the lowest competitive score ever shot in the history of Noblesville girls golf.
Diana Cox – Volleyball – Noblesville HS
Diana has stepped into a HUGE role as libero as only a sophomore and has shown great leadership to her team as an underclass. She plays with such intensity and brings her team up to her level every time she steps on the court.
Diana averages 3 digs per set
Allie Delph – Volleyball – Sheridan HS
Allie consistently leads the team in various stat categories. She also is a great leader on the court pushing her teammates to be better everyday.
She leads the team with 72 kills this season and 446 kills for her career.
Michaela Headlee – Golf – Carmel HS
Michaela was the top medalist at the Hamilton County Girls Golf Championship. She shot a 2 under par, 33 at the Harbour Trees Golf Course. She had seven one-putt greens. Michaela lead the Greyhounds to their first place finish at the championships.
Jada Allen – Volleyball – Fishers HS
The Fishers Tigers volleyball team finished August with a 4-0 record to start their season. Jada has been a dominant leader for the team on the court, registering 51 kills in the first four games. Jada crushed 20 kills in a 3-2 victory against McCutcheon.
