Lia Davis was selected and has committed to Cheerleading at Purdue University.  Lia has been a cheerleader for the Rocks for 4 years earning 3 varsity letters.  She was named an Indiana Al-American Cheerleader 3 times and nominated for the All-State Team.  Lia is a member of the National Honor Society.  At Purdue, Lia plans to major in Pharmacy and minor in Spanish.  Pictured above sitting alongside Lia is her mom, Julie Tidwell and her grandmother, Judy Tidwell.  Standing is Cat Stevenson-Assistant Cheer Coach, Chanmoni Farris-Assistant Cheer Coach, Steve Solberg-Purdue Cheer Coach, Claire Davis-sister, and Beth Ellis-former Cheer Coach.

Carly Bogdajewicz has signed her letter of intent to run Track and Cross Country at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. Carly is a 4 year varsity letter winner in both Track and Cross Country at WHS and earned the Mental Attitude Award for track in 2016 and was named a captain in track her senior year.  She was also named to the Academic All-State Team in Track in 2017.  At Calvin, Carly plans to major in Chemical Engineering.  Pictured above sitting alongside Carly are her parents, Paul and Michelle Bogdajewicz.  Standing is Scott Lidskin-Assistant Cross Country Coach, Roger Wachtel-Varsity Head Track Coach, Robby Bogdajewicz-Brother, Shane Moore-Varsity Head Cross Country Coach, Josh Wachtel-Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach.

Dainon Wray has signed his letter of intent to run Track at Purdue University.  Dainon is a 4 year varsity letter winner in Track and also played 4 years of soccer at WHS.  In track, he is a 300 Meter Hurdles Regional Champion and holds records for the 300 Meter Hurdles and 4×400 Meter Relay.  He also earned an award for most improved runner.  Academically he was recognized for Academic Excellence and will graduate as an AP Scholar with Distinction.  At Purdue, Dainon plans to major in Humanitarian Engineer.  Pictured above sitting alongside Dainon are his parents, Glenda Huffman and Jan Wray.  Standing is Roger Wachtel-Varsity Head Track Coach, Josh Wachtel-Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach, Natalie Wray-Sister, Shauna Nossler-Assistant Track Coach, and Josh Miracle-Varsity Head Track Coach.

Rhiley Sperry was selected and has committed to Cheerleading at Butler University.  Rhiley has been a cheerleader for the Rocks for 4 years earning 3 varsity letters.  She was a captain on the cheer team her senior year and earned UCA All-American.  Rhiley is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.  At Butler, Rhiley plans to study Accounting.  Pictured above sitting alongside Rhiley are her parents, Tish and Martin Sperry as well as her sister, Nora Sperry.  Standing is Cat Stevenson-Assistant Cheer Coach, Chanmoni Farris-Assistant Cheer Coach, and Beth Ellis-former Cheer Coach.
