The Rocks hosted the Noblesville Millers to open their second HCC series of the year on April 12. Zach Zaborowski gave up two runs on a home run by Mark Goudy in the first inning and one run in the second, then settled in to give the Rocks a solid outing going 4.1 innings, allowing just two hits and striking out six. The three runs the Millers scored in the first two innings was enough to hold the Rocks off as they were not able to capitalize with a big hit in the opportunities they had. Offensively, Matthew Meyer, Kyle Pepiot, Payton Tamm and Brandon Yoder each had a hit. Pepiot’s hit was an RBI double. The Rocks will square off with the Millers Friday, April 13th in a DH to avoid inclement weather predicted for Saturday April 14th.
