Boys Varsity Football · 5 Rocks Football Players make College Commitment


Westfield is proud to announce 5 Rocks Football players have committed to be student-athletes and play football in college.

Koby Hauser signed his letter of intent to play football at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.  Koby is a 4 year starter and varsity letter winner on the football team. He helped lead the Shamrocks to an IHSAA 5A Football State Championship in 2016.  In addition, Koby was named to  the All-State All-Academic team his junior and senior years; earned All-Conference honors in the HCC, named to the All-Metro Super Team by the Indy Star, and was a team MVP.  At Air Force, Koby plans to study Business Management. Kaleb Pettijohn signed his letter of intent to play football at Marian University in Indianapolis. Kaleb is a 3 year varsity letter winner on the football team. He helped lead the Shamrocks to an IHSAA 5A Football State Championship in 2016.  In addition, Kaleb earned All -Conference honors in the HCC and has played Baseball and run Track at WHS.  At Marian, Kaleb plans to study Nursing. Michael Delaney signed his letter of intent to play football at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne.  Michael is a 2 year varsity letter winner on the football team and helped lead the Shamrocks to an IHSAA 5A Football State Championship in 2016.  At Saint Francis, Michael plans to study Marketing and minor in performing arts.  Congratulations Michael!  Pictured above are Michael’s parents, Eric and Wendy Delaney sitting next to Michael.  Standing is Tavio Henson-Strength Coach and Jake Gilbert-Varsity Football Coach.

 

Matt Robinson signed his letter of intent to play football at Marian University in Indianapolis.  Matt is a 2 year varsity letter winner on the football team and also plays Baseball for WHS.  He helped lead the Shamrocks to an IHSAA 5A Football State Championship in 2016.  In addition, Matt earned All-Conference honors in the HCC, All-County honors, All-State honors, and was a team Captain as a Senior.  At Marian, Matt plans to study Business Management. Cameron Nance signed his letter of intent to play football at Milliken University in Decatur, IL.  Cameron is a 2 year varsity letter winner on the football team and has also played Baseball for WHS.  He helped lead the Shamrocks to an IHSAA 5A Football State Championship in 2016.  At Milliken, Cameron plans to study Business Management.
