Meet Recap

The Westfield Girls Golf team finished runner up in the Zionsville Invitational on Wednesday at the Golf Club of Indiana. The Shamrocks shot a solid score of 309 but that was two strokes shy of Zionsville’s 307.

The Shamrocks were led by Cailyn Henderson who shot a two over par 74 and was runner up medalist. Jocelyn Bruch followed with a 77 which was good enough for fourth overall. Adrienne Montalone shot a 78 which was the 6th best score overall. Margaret Wentz finished with an 80 and that was the 8th best score overall. Grace Snyder rounded Westfield’s top five with an 89. Emma Clary, Natalie Shupe and Megan Barker played as individuals and shot an 82, 87 and 100.

This was the Shamrocks first lost on the season and they will look to bounce back tomorrow competing in the their fourth tournament in four days at the Crooked Stick Invitational beginning at 1:30.
