The Lady Shamrocks Varsity Girls Golf team traveled to Indianapolis on Monday morning to compete the Irish Invitational at Maple Creek Country Club. The Lady Shamrocks had a rough day battling an extremely challenging course that they were seeing for the first time. The team finished with a team score of 343 which was good enough for 5th place in the 11 team field and only 11 strokes off of the team champion Carmel. This is the first time the Shamrocks have not finished in the top 3 in an invitational in two seasons. Leading the way for the Shamrocks was Margaret Wentz who finished 6th overall with an 80. Jocelyn Bruch was close behind her with an 81 and seventh overall. Morgan Baechle finished the day with an 89. Natalie Shupe carded a 93 and Adrienne Montalone finished with a 97.
