Boys Junior Varsity Swimming, Boys Varsity Swimming · Men’s Swim Team Earns 3rd Place Finish at HCC Championships

The WHS Men’s Swim Team earned a 3rd place finish in the tough HCC Championship meet Saturday.  Along the way, the Rocks saw great performance from the following:
–Nathaniel Bledsoe, who was a two-time HCC Champion–setting two HCC records along the way.

–Eric Oleson, who earned two second-place finishes in the 200 and 500 Freestyles

–Tab Kenney and Joey Niederberger, who each earned a top 5 finish on the day.

In addition, Matt Carr, Mateus de Vasconcelos Barros, and Adam Kurek all contributed great swims to the cause, finishing just outside of the top 5 while earning lifetime bests.  This was a great team effort after a tough 2 weeks of Christmas training.  Back to work!

The Rocks will be back in action next Saturday, January 11 at 11am for a re-scheduled dual with Zionsville.  Please come support our senior swimmers on their Senior Night!
