The Rocks traveled to Lafayette Jeff last night to play the Bronchos at Loeb Stadium. The Bronchos scored twice in the first, once in the second, once in the fourth and once in the fifth. The Rocks scattered six hits and could only produce one run, losing the contest 5-1. Max McCool started for the Rocks and pitched three innings allowing three earned runs while Jacob Robinson pitched three innings of relief. He did not allow an earned run and struck out two. Offensively, Matt Kinney had two hits and Nathan Manworren had the lone RBI. Westfield will look to split the series with the Bronchos at 6pm tonight at Shamrock Field.
