Westfield Schools are in the middle of a Capital Campaign designed to raise $9 million to complete a new stadium project and upgrade some existing facilities. A Capital Campaign committee, under the guidance of the WHS Athletic Department, includes representation from parents, community members, high school administration, coaches, teachers, district administration, and Board members. The aggressive work of the committee has secured $3.2 million of the $9 million goal needed to realize the vision of a community stadium.
“We had 244 events in the stadium last year. With an artificial surface, we believe we can exceed 300 events per year,” said Dr. Mark Keen.
We would like to thank our key donors to date: St. Vincent Health Inc.; Estridge Family Foundation; Sodexo; Collision Cure; and OrthoIndy & Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital, along with the numerous individuals and families that have purchased memorial bricks.
We also want to recognize and thank CSO architects for their generosity in the design process. Finally, the great community support that is already behind our efforts is appreciated as we encourage all to get involved.
