Rocks Split Doubleheader with Eagles

The Rocks split an HCC doubleheader with Zionsville Thursday night. In game 1, Ty Anderson got the start and turned in a gem pitching 5.2 innings while allowing six hits, one run and striking out five. Offensively, the Rocks scored 11 runs and were led by Brayden Hibler who was 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI. Lincoln Hoffman was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI. Drew Law, Ethan Colling and Beck Jordan each had a hit and an RBI in the game. Westfield won game one 11-1. In game two, the Eagles jumped out to an early lead and never looked back winning 7-1. Nick Fero and Tyler Gentry had the lone hits for Westfield.
