Meet Recap

Running a split squad approach that had the team running in two meets on the same day, the boys cross country team finished 7th of 15 teams in the elite race at the Brown County Eagle Invitational Saturday morning, running times that bested 42 teams on the day. The Shamrocks were led in scoring by Nick Leahy, Samuel Novak, Max Gutwein, Noah Douthit, and James McClure. Novak, Gutwein, Douthit, and McClure all ran career best times, as did Gavin Clinkenbeard, and Duncan McGraw, and Jon Huntley ran a season best.

Overall, the Shamrock boys registered 35 personal best times in the two meets. The team is back together again next Saturday, September 16, hosting the Riverview Health Invitational (formerly the FlashRock), at Northview Church in Carmel.
