Game Recap

The freshman Rocks of Westfield traveled to Southport to take on the Cardinals in what was truly a thrilling football game. Throughout the game, the score went back and forth, as the teams rallied for the lead. Offensive touchdowns were scored by QB Nick Talley, RB Jack Pfeiffer, and WR Carson Voorhis. Defensively, the Rocks intercepted the football three times, with Owen Dossett and Carson Voorhis leading the charge. The Rocks fought all the way to the end, scoring on a TD pass from Talley to Voorhis to end the game. Ultimately, however, they fell short 24-28.

This week the Rocks will take on conference rival Zionsville on Labor Day at Zionsville’s Stadium. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Go Rocks!
